Mosquito Lagoon camping quesitons?

Was thinking of camping and fishing in the mosquito lagoon. From what I can see there are a lot of islands outside the NWR that look like good spots. I guess my question is, where would be a safe place to launch the boat and leave the vehicle/trailer overnight? Also any other tips pertinent to that location. I was eyeing the ramp on haulover, safe? I'd be happy to pay a couple bucks if there is a marina type place to launch and park overnight.

There is a nominal fee and some rules...read the link below for additional info . As far as safe parking i'd launch out of riverbreeze in oak hill or the ramp in titusville right by the new giant bridge (max brewer memorial parkway) There is no overnight parking at the haulover ramp or any ramp in the refuge fyi. Also make sure you download a free paper copy of your MINWR refuge permit. ( link to permit and a map http://www.fws.gov/merrittisland/FishRegs2012.pdf )

THERE IS NO RV OR TRAILER CAMPING AT THIS SITE. Camp on one of eleven designated campsite islands in Mosquito Lagoon. There are no facilities at these sites. Reservations are required. Reservations may be made by phone or in person up to 7 days in advance. Permits may be picked up anytime after you make your reservation, but must be in your possession prior to camping. Winter months when the mosquitoes are less bothersome is the best time to utilize these primitive sites. Boats or canoes are required to get to the campsites.

Many of those islands are in super skinny water.... at least the last time we were there. I'm talking 2-4"s in some cases, so if you;re in much more than a Gheenoe be ready to wade at certain tide stages. I don't rememebr the name of the place we launched/parked at.. it was on the NNE side of the lagoon.
