12-05 Seminar: What we have learned from tagging Black Fin Tuna with PSATs

A very big THANKS to Capt Skip Smith for sharing his fishing tips with us at the last meeting; it was very informative. Congratulations to those who won prizes in our free raffle. I am pleased to announce that Dr. David Kerstetter from NOVA SE University Oceanographic Center will be our guest speaker this Wednesday, Dec 5th, starting at 7:30 PM following a happy hour at Boston Johnny's Bar and Grill, 2120 N Dixie Hwy, Hollywood, FL 33020. His topic is "What we have learned from tagging Black Fin Tuna with PSATs". Remember that we meet outside in the Tiki Bar and that I have spare jackets and sweaters available if you forget yours.

A big thanks to Home Ports Charts (http://www.homeportcharts.com/), Starbrite (http://www.starbrite.com/), RJ Boyle's (http://www.rjboylestudio.com/), Lindgren Pitman (http://www.lindgren-pitman.com/), and an anonymous donor who have contributed merchandize to the club this year. Besides being a free club to join with free regular seminars, we are also giving out free raffle tickets for some great prizes at most of the meetings. We will be meeting the first Wednesdays of the month next year with free seminars on Jan 2; Feb 6; Mar 6; Apr 3; and May 1. Please get in touch if you would like to give a seminar on one of those days. cheers, O
