are a fisherman's worst nightmare.
Anchor up within 50 ft of me, don spearfishing gear, and hit the bottom.
I told them that I would make them "famous". As well as other things that I can not repeat on here.
Carolina Skiff 218, 140 Suzuki, fishing out of Ponce.
A little courtesy goes a long way.

I saw that guy pull up right in front of where you were anchored and drop his anchor and suit up. I could tell you didn't look happy. That was total BS.

Divers like that are a pain in the **** and give spearfisherman a bad rap. :mad
I dive regularlly ,weather permiting, and wait, move or get an ok from the fisherman to dive the wreck or ledge area that they are on. :wink
Fisherman ignoring dive flags is a much bigger problem:nono

Fish lose their appetite quickly when the steel slinging begins.
I didn't want to chum any more fish for them to shoot so I moved away.

I saw how nice you were. When they pulled up on you my buddy said they're going to anchor right there and I thought no way they would do that. Then they did, and then my buddy said they're going to dive and again I thought no way are they going to do that but they did. Then I saw you pull anchor and leave and that's what I would have done too.

I have seen 6-7 boats catching bait on Bethel.... then a boat with 4 dudes shows up and they drop down to dive it. Talk about some bull****.

Strat deep jigging with 16oz jigs with trailer hooks.
Toss to the bubbles, that's where the big black fish will be.
