Stuffing Recipe for Thanksgiving

Here is a good one,a recipe that I have made , it is a family favorite the last few years , Enjoy Greg


Cranberry Apple Sausage Stuffing

1 ½ bag Pepperidge Farms Stuffing Mix
1 large onion – chopped medium
2 stalks celery - chopped medium
1 lb sausage – sage (I like Jimmy Dean)
1 teaspoon (tsp) onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp sage
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp black pepper
1 Tsp (tablespoon) kosher salt
2 cups chicken stock
1 cup cranberries; re-hydrate with chicken stock and reuse stock in mix
3 apples diced fine

Sautee sausage and then add onions, celery and apples, fry until sausage is done
Add Sausage mixture to the Bread Crumb mix; add spices, cranberries and chicken stock
Stir until it is mixed well, pour into a 9x12 baking dish-pan; bake at 350 for about 30 minutes or until warm.
