Have a friend coming into town this weekend.
Request: Conch Fritters and Key Lime pie.
Where is the best place to dine out in the West Palm Beach area for this?

Can't think of the name of the restaurant but it's on Clematis and Dixie. The owner is a forum member here. I think there may be a thread or two about it somewhere. The name rhymes but that is all I can remember.

I didn't have them at John's but I'm sure they're good, everything else sure is.

just filled my face with Bahama Mama's conch fritters, excellent! Great Habanero sauce.

In Jupiter, new place on the water, just south of Indiantown Road in the Jupiter Yacht Club project...called "The Dive Bar". I had an excellent serving of fritters and a dessert of Key Lime Pie....New concept store run by some of the QuarterDeck folks..

I also recently heard that Dive Bar in Jupiter was very good as well. Have not been but it is on my list for sure.:beer

John, thanks for the kind words. Mike and I had an outstanding time. The food was out of this world good. Thank you and your wife for the awesome hospitality, it was a pleasure to meet you. I'm sure on Mike's return trip at the end of the month we will make a stop there again.

John, Hey it was nice meeting you the other night at the resturant. Loved the place and the food. The only exception is you need a tuna pic on the wall from Venice. To repay your hospitality when I come back into town on the 22nd I will try and bring a prime top loin of yellowfin for you and your wife. Thanks again.
