Heck yes...and I am having a special until the end of the year.

I have a black round knob that would go very well with that reel....the stock handle can be drilled to accept the knob..

If you would send me an email with your FS sceenname so I know who you are, I will send some pics tomorrow when I head back out to the shop.

If you send the reel in for cleaning, it is only $16...and I would mount the knob on the handle while it is here.

Thanks! Let me know...I can give you my shipping address

    Great news !

I am sending from [email protected]. Actually reels have JUST been cleaned ( Deep cleaned as I rolled my kayak a few weeks back and they got dunked....so I couldn't wait and had to get em done ASAP ) However I like what I see here as far as feedback and will use you in the future.

Diawa procasters....5 bearings and built really well....

You bet...it is an $18 service for cleaning as well as corrosion protection. New carbon-tex drags for those reels are only $6.

I also use a lighter weight grease and oil on most baitcasters so they won't lose any distance!
So what would the total price for the work and new drag washers be? Not including the shipping...

    Well...I regress...

It appears as if there is no carbontex drag washer available for your reel...and two reasons for that.

One is that the carbontex material is not as thick as the stock drag. The second is that the stock drag in your reels can be easily cleaned and greased to well enough to provide a good drag surface.

A cleaning for your reel, including bearings and drag service is $18..

    Thanks!

Thanks, Ryan....it came in a little crusty, but seemed to clean up quite well...

Also, the Penn 112, 113 & 114 are some of the easier reels to get into and clean. I get to do a lot of them; so have them priced reasonably!

Realistic price on making a stradic 6000FH work again...?
yes, it is in a million pieces. tried to replace the idle gear. shame on me...

Hmmm...seems like I have been this route before. This is a Spheros, but that is how it came to me!...:rotflmao

Nothing an ol pro like me hasn't seen before!

I do most spinning reels for $18....and that includes ones the owners have disassembled...you will get a good cleaning, drags and bearings serviced and definitely re-assembled!

    Let me know if interested...

    Thanks, Rick

If you end up sending your stradic to him, I have my stradic 2500 and sustain 2000 that arent working right, I'll send them with you broham...
You do anything with anti-reverse? Its not working on both of them.

The anti-reverse should have NO OIL APPLIED !! But somehow it manages to find it's way down between the sleeve and the bearings...and makes it virtually unusable....

Many times a cleaning fixes it. If not, they are about $19 to replace the bearing and sleeve. Which I always do together. Just like a pinion and a main gear needs to be replaced together...

The cleanings on all those reels will cost you $18 each!

    Have a great Christmas!

    rick,

i definitely DO NOT have all the springs and parts that went BAZIINNGG and BOIING when i opened the reel...

but I do want to get it working again. it was hardly used. i took a part from it to replace a part from a different reel. she's pretty much new!

Curious if you clean / repair Shimano Spheros (3000 and 4000)? If so how many should I send at a time? I have 10 that need to be cleaned and a little TLC, afterwards I would like to do the same for my stratics.

You should have gotten my reels today, did I you? Thanks
