10/7 Down south

Put in at the OR around 7 am. Had a high falling tide early so definitely had to get an early start to have some water to work with! Fished some shallow bights first thing with good success throwing gulp shrimp and top water, skitter-walk mullet pattern has been the ticket for me! The reds were chewin good with a few nice snook in the mix as well! Water was pretty clear tanic and it was great seeing a few fish come chase down the bait! Fished shallow until there wasnt much water left then hit some outside points on the lower part of the tide but not much luck once the tide fell! Done by about 1 pm and totaled about 30 reds, 8 snook and 5 nice trout between the three of us onboard, i will figure the picture thing out one day so i can post some pics!! Great day down in paradise for sure, can never seem to get enough!!

Thanks for the report. The redfish bite has been outstanding for the past 2 months. And the big trout bite has also been great. Wonderful time of year to fish.
