If you have time, offshore swivel knot. For a quickie, nothing beats a centauri knot which is a knot every fisherman should learn in my opinion. The strongest next to a nail knot. This knot tests at 95%. While the uni tests at only 75% and a palamor knot only tests at 85%.
Spider hitch to make a double line then uni to the swivel. Never had the knot fail (but I seem to break off plenty getting jammed in pilings and oyster bears).
