Question? About pathological liars

I had a really good friend who was a pathological liar we all loved him anyway you just took what he said with a grain of salt..He committed sucide years ago.His son who was to young to really know him and is a friend of my son's has the same promble you can't belive anything he says he can really BS the girls and the group of friends they all hang out with. There all in the late teens. My question is should I call him out on the BS.

I had a buddy who played 2nd base for the Cincinnati Reds, but blew out his knee. He was also an Army Ranger and while storming Grenada was shot in the knee. He must have found the best plastic surgeons in the country cause he doesn't have a single scar. There's a lot more BS than just those stories I assure you! Almost everything that comes out of his mouth was a lie.

What gets me is people that lie for no reason. Not to get their self out of trouble, not to be boasting, not to make their self look beter. Nothing. To answer your question, yes I would call him on it, but not in a embarassing way if he is a friend.

No way in hell you're going to change that, but you can call him on it when he tries it with you. Sounds like he will need to get used to those bars closing shut behind him.

But how can you change people from lieing, when are President lies daily?
Maybe a shrink would be the way to go.

I work with a guy like that. Every word is a lie. No one believes him. The problem is that these people believe the lies they are telling so it is real life to them. If they get caught in a lie, they turn the story around on you to make it look like you are lieing. This is when you realize what world they live in and jus tshake your head and live with it. Oh, and these types are usually VERY good BS'ers and azzkissers!!!!!
