Mingo run

Forecast called for rain so we me and Jonathan expected to be back early due to bad weather. As you see we rolled the dice and we got sunny sky and not a drop of wind.coming out and we are greeted by the locals. Here are a few pics of the trip we connected with several Reds, J caught small snook and he also jumped Small ****, considering we were going for just a boat ride we did not do bad. We hit some keys on the way out to the bight. Tournament
was going on so there was a lot of boats. Sounded like everyone was on the fish as we constantly heard the trademark Woohoo and high fives. Again weather was perfect and me and Jonathan were doing some high fiving ourselves. Not a bad day at the park.

Very cool dude. It would have been awesome if you could have caught them on the fly.

yeah they hit doa, jonathan caught his first on topwater that fish exploded on that red white zspook. On the fly they would have follows right next to the boat but no takes, was using a shrimp patter, then i changed to a clouser and still no takes. Did not have any sliders i bet would have produced.

yes, i used a strip strip pause, then a continuous strip strip all the way to the boat, then longer slower strips. Then changed to lighter dumbell eyes. Nada
