Some good ones I've seen recently:

    L.A. Confidential
    Snatch
    Inglourious Basterds
    12 Angry Men http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s0NlNOI5LG0

    BAD:

HEAT. I can't believe a movie with Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Val Kilmer, and Tom Sizemore could suck so much. Half or more of this movie is these guys' crappy relationships with their wives and girlfriends. It was so annoying sitting down to watch a movie about a gang of bank robbers and end up watching a terrible soap opera about their love lives. Such a bad movie.

The escape after the robbery was good. I know what you mean though. It was a very disturbing movie .

Memento is another good movie I forgot to mention.

"Memento chronicles two separate stories of Leonard, an ex-insurance investigator who can no longer build new memories, as he attempts to find the murderer of his wife, which is the last thing he remembers."

I agree. Started watching it on whim, and couldn't stop. I am waiting for season 2 also. Pizzed that they cancelled it.

I think you mean Chinatown. China Syndrome had different actors, and I doubt it was as good.

Check out the Illusionist and Primal Fear. Norton is one heck of an actor.

    Norton was great in that.

Watched "enemey at the gates" this past weekend. Had some good action and scenes in it as well as some stuff that could of been left out. Puts it in perspective how evil of a person Stalin actually was.
