:rotflmao Left the dock at sandsprit @ 5:45 am and my plan was to get some live bait and try high speed trolling for wahoo. My friend mike and I were ready and hopefull.Bullshark had lots of blue runners and slim pickins for sardines,so we headed to shrimpers and loaded up with small bait and headed offshore. The water is really dirty and we stopped at a weedline in 150 ft but it was mostly sea grass and we couldn't see any bait under it so we headed past pushbutton hill and the water was cleaner, and we set out three lines.Trolling down the line at about 12 kts. While Mike was rigging up for live baiting
I noticed that the long wahoo rig was spooled completely, thinking it was all set and locked in at 300feet back,I didn't set the drag far enough past the strike zone.OH well live and learn. SHort time later we switch out to a 5 line ballyhoo spread and run south and north to no avail.Next up was livebaiting the larger patches of weed with chunked sardines and menhaden oil, dropping livies down deep,we tried everything to no avail. Headed in at 1:30pm
and stopped at evans creary to drop in some bait,on the second drift over mike gets hooked up on a nice jack and releases it at boatside. We were done for the day and even beat most of the school bus traffic.

By the way, I've managed to get spooled by an overhanging tree on the way home. That tld30 2 speed was full of braid too... Know how you feel.
