Beach Tarpon bite has been Awesome! some pics and reports

The tarpon on the beach is one that I will never forget! Using lures from the D.O.A. bait buster to spoons have been working great. Gulp baits are working great too, just try to match the size of the glass minnows. The glass minnows are still around and are at different spots every time I search for them. Live mullet is not working good just from watching people trying. Even thread fins and pilchard are just not what they are trying to eat. They only want the small minnows, thats only from fishing at the beaches around the minnows. But fishing the bridges and channels is a different story then with live bait. How fishing has been its like something you would be watching on tv and on the west coast or in the keys. Snook fishing is ok and should pick back up. Were are the mullet? They are starting to show up a little late this year but they are coming. I have seen some little pods around.

Kelsea with a nice **** that are the size that I like to catch.

Miner with a nice ****.

Me with a nice nice big **** that was a long fight and almost spooled me a couple of times. Yes there are sharks around but just be smart and I did take a chance. Just with big fish keep them in the water and get a quick pic and revive them back up.

. Charter I did with 11yr old Mat on his first tarpon and it was pushing around 150pds, the kid was on cloud 9. It put on a great show and beat up the kid for hr before line broke with fish next to boat.

Chad thumbing his real to try and stop the fish and also saving his drag from burning up, LOL, Just make sure that if its about to spool yah, grab the bail and break it off. We don't need a fish swimming with 300yrs of braid out there. Also you will be done for fishing that day.

Nice jump shot I got, I have taken over 10gigs of pictures in the last 4 weeks and some pics are great.

Drew with a nice ****, and a great shot I got of him!

Nice spinner I got the other week! such amazing looking shark. Dont try this! LOL
ALSO, IF YOU GO FISH FROM BOAT DONT MOTOR UP ON THE SCHOOL OF BAIT OR GET RIGHT ON TOP OF THEM PLEASE. THE FISH ARE EVERYWHERE AROUND THE SCHOOL FROM 100YARDS AWAY +. DONT COME RIGHT UP ON THE BEACH AND SCARE THE FISH. IF YOU WANT TO COME UP THAT CLOSE THAN JUST FISH ON THE BEACH. KEEP YOUR EYE OPEN WHEN YOUR OUT THERE AND IF YOU SEE SOME ONE HOOKED UP WITH A **** MOTOR OUT CAUSE THAT FISH IS JUST GONNA GO RIGHT FOR THE BOAT AND GO PAST YOU. AT LEAST STAY 100YARDS OFF THE BEACH. I HAVE SEEN TOO MANY FISH THAT GOT BROKEN OFF FROM THE FISH GETTING RUN OVER BY BOATS.. NOT TRYING TO BE MEAN JUST SAYING WORDS THAT EVERYONE FEELS AND SAYS FROM THE BEACH.. JUST RESPECT THE PEOPLE FISHING FROM LAND. WE ALL WANT TO CATCH THEM AND WE ALL WANT TO HAVE FUN.
