This is not so much a fishing report as it is a heads-up for those obsessed with tarpon in the Stuart area. I had an appointment this afternoon near the park in Rocky Point at the crossroads, so swung by to have a look at the river afterwards. There was school after school of 8"-12" mullet cruising down the river in a hurry on the outgoing tide with big tarpon crushing the schools consistently right in front of me. Not sure if all the fresh water inland is chasing them out or their fall migration has begun already, but when I say there was a LOT of mullet I mean it. Good luck if tarpon are your thing.

Frustrating, huh.
Yeah, pretty much went like :hairraiser when I saw it Nat. Wish I had time to go grab my net and a rod from the boat. Still fun to observe from the pier right in front of them feeding.
