Tokina 10-17mm
Stored in camera bag with several other lenses. Dry closet. No humidity
Have not used it in several months
Took it out a couple of days and from the 10mm to maybe 14 mm setting it is smooth as usual but then gets difficult to turn to get to the 17mm setting. You do not have to force it but it is definitely much harder to turn. No grinding.
Moved it back and forth a few times but no change
No miracles expected but just wondered why it would happen. Expensive lens and would like to keep it
Thanks

Never seem more learned than the people you are with. Wear your learning like a pocket watch and keep it hidden. Do not pull it out to count the hours, but give the time when you are asked. --- Lord Chesterfield

Thanks for the responses
X2. This the best option where you are located. Keep in mind that oftentimes both camera and lens repairs are not inexpensive.
When I work at the Orlando Sentinel we always sent stuff to Green's Camera

(It has not been in the housing in over a yr and I have used it on land several times since it has been in the housing so not water related.)
found several "repair " places in the area but how do you know who to trust.............................
Maybe ship to Green's Camera.................
I also saw another place in Tampa "The Camera Cure"
