Was messing round, not completely happy with it, but it has more to do with the drawing... I want to make a really good one when I can see (only light now is PC screen)

    I am choice.
Please don't try to interject with reason, it only further confuses the matter.

I like the tailing reds in B&W.

On your blue marlin, you were missing an off-side pectoral fin. Just looked off to me with what appeared to be a slightly quartering perspective. Otherwise, most everything is spot on!

I think this one will be a WIP until I learn to use PS to the max... I don't know how to make the water layer, just comes out fuzzy, dont like it. All my work is original! I feel accomplished regardless of whether it takes me places or not... OH and my graphic pen pad is ON THE WAY! This was all drawn with a mouse so far, cuz its what I got lol... I want to call this one, "if we could see through the water".

Swordfizh, you have real talent, natural inclination.I am new to the Photography Forum and your post is a real treat.

My wife produces custom fabrics as a hobby and the typical response is "why don't you MAKE something to SELL!?" My wife resists that, she is 'developing' skill.
But Swordfizh I can not help but to suggest you consider custom T shirt, clothing items for individuals, depicting certain individual scenes, arrangements.
Hunters are present yet relatively uncommon in Florida :wink

Thank you for your kind comments FloridaOD, at the moment I am unemployed and haven't been able to find anything since May... It is truly frustrating! With that being said, my art is keeping me positive and upbeat! I would love to have a shirt company hire me to come up with designs! I would blow their socks off with all my original never before done Ideas hehe. For example, I can do a "round the world tour" shirt line... Or even start small and do it by state, like the state map as a background and all the major gamefish I can fit in there etc. I have never seen it done in a world scale though... So Costa Rica, snook, tarpon, rooster fish etc... You get the picture. I have tried contacting a few clothing lines, but not much success in the form of even an acknowledgement email. Either way, I will continue to "develop skill", I love how usually each piece I make comes out better than the last, so I have not yet hit my peak, at least I don't think so.

Your words of encouragement definitely do help. I have never had any kind of art training, all I have is my passion for the sea and all creatures in it! I have some more work coming down the pipelines... This keeps me busy while the clock counts down the weeks till unemployment runs out... I have sent countless resumes and tried just about everything... It is just tough out there. Just saw that American Airlines is going to lay off a bunch of people now too, so even more competition heading my way. Also, I dont mind Ideas from everyone... Since we all see the world in a very different way!
