Home General Freshwater Fishing

The bass was a bitin' tonight.

Don't know if it was the rain that came through here this afternoon, the moon phase, barometric pressure, the nice weedline created by the recently raised water level or what. None had any size to them, they averaged between 1- 1.5 lbs, but it was one of those times where if you went 5 casts without hangin a fish, you were wondering what was wrong. Several hit before I could close the bail.

Yo zuri suspended crystal minnow in shiner color. Also a great way to break in my new (old) Daiwa Tournament 7'6" that just received a new lease on life with new eva grips, and repositioned reel seat. Not the fanciest, or lightest girl, but she cast a mile.

Makes up for the lockjaw days.
