Went up to the NMZ yesterday. Launched the kayak about 6am. and headed north up near buck creek. I tried to sight fish for some reds, but the water was muddy in alot of spots which made it hard to sight fish. I threw top water near some bait pods on the way up. I had a few nice hit on the top water but I couldnt bring in any fish.

Once I got up near buck creek the water was still very dirty, so I started to throw the popping dork with a DOA to make some noise. I also threw out a chunk of mullet. I got a 22 inch red on the popping cork and a four trout 22-20 inches. I aslo got 2 more reds on the mullet a 21 inch and another 22 inch red.

I also got a great view of the Delta rocket that went up, and man was that thing loud.

That's a bit of a paddle to Buck Creek but obviously worth it that day. Nice job!
