Night Snook and Trout 6/29/12

Started our night a little late, but we were on location by 9:30pm. Started on our normal docks with only 1 small snook so we went to the other side of the river and came to a green light loaded with snook. We would get 3 snook off of it. One being my 1st tarpon snook! From there down we picked up 5 more snook to 25 inches. Then I hook up to a trout and after netting it realize it's very thick. Only 21 inches long, but estimated 4-5lbs! The whole night we were hearing some giant tarpon crash mullet behind us and a buddy of mine caught one over 100lbs last night! On the way in we stop at one last dock and dad hooks up to a nice snook in a tight area. Great job getting the fish out and I caught it in the net as the CAL popped out of the fishes mouth! :grin 26 incher! We circle to the front of the dock and skip a cast way under it. Hooked up to another good snook about the same size, but it comes unbuttoned. Finished the night with 10 snook and 1 trout! All fish were caught on DOA CAL's(glow and glow/gold).
