Jupiter inlet VHF freq?

What channel is used for those heading out of Jupiter? I'm going out there tomorrow morning, but will be bottom fishing unless the radio reports are good. Anyone from the forum going out of Jupiter tomorrow?

You would be wise to tag 68, 69, 72, 73, 74, 78, 84 on your VHF, and set it on scan. That will cover most all the channels in South Florida that you're likely to hear fishing conversations on. Pay attention to which one(s) you're hearing local info on for the area you're fishing. When not scanning, switch to that channel.
Meanwhile, on the little fiberglass boat Uncle Buck...

turn your FM radio on to 94.3 and listen to Happy Henry and crew from 6-8 am. and you will hear Capt. Bill from the BLACK DOG and he will tell you how the
bottom action and current are for the day and what is coming over the rail in jupiter/juno reef system.

nothing like first hand Captians knowledge in real time to help with your decsion.

VHF is so 80's and is full of twelve year olds giving shout outs. IMHO.

have not turn mine on in years (minus checking the signal)

ESPN 760 AM from 7-8 am for the original fishing show- Florida Sportsman Live and you'll hear Black Dog on this show FIRST before he gets to Henry-

yes george and eden are good as well but I like to the first on the water and the first off with my limit. That is why some
captains in jupiter leave early and some just follow. if you are out there an extra hour u beat the crowds of weekenders correct?

So you never go on the VHF to hear what people are catching? Hear how far out the weeds are?

Leaving early is definitely a plus but you'll still hear Bill Taylor's report on ESPN at 7:15. What time does he call in to the other show? I've never heard it.
