Headed over to stay at Hirams with some friends for my buddy Bills B-day. Bill, his wife, and myself made it over about 7am with Bills boat in tow. The weather started off pretty nice with calm winds and overcast. It did start to rain after about an hour, and was on and off till we quit at about 11. We threw top waters and soft plastic jerk baits most of the time and didn't do too bad considering the lack of grass since our last trip over there about 2 years ago. We ended up with 1 red, about 6 trout to 22" and pulled the hooks on 2 snook and a nice red.
Bill made it back out saturday afternoon and Sunday morning also. He caught some nice trout to 24" on Saturday, but said the bite about shut down completely on Sunday. Sorry no pics, it was wet most of the day.

Good work Joe..glad you and Bill got a few...next time call my cell and I'll tell you where to fish (anywhere 30 miles north or south of Hirams is a good start LOL!)
Hope your place over on the other coast is OK after Debbie....
Many things to do.
