Big trout in the thousand islands south of the Cocoa Beach golf course

Never did rain Saturday so my son and I loaded up the boat and headed out. Got back into the islands south of the Cocoa Beach golf course and was able to use the electric trolling motor to get to places until now I've only been able to pole to.. Couldn't believe how high the water was and clean for this time of year... Caught a lot of dinks on DOA cals but the fun started when we put some gold spoons on... Was going to blind cast for reds and it was game on with the lunker trout.. Caught and released 5 like this one.... Loads of bait = loads of fun...

Saturday was a good day. I was north of you in the no motor zone. 2 slot reds and 8 trout ranging 16-23 and bunch of the baby trout.
