A Little Lagoon Help

I'm going to take my son and a friend over to the lagoon in the morning. It's been 3 years since my last trip there. I'm not looking for secret spots, but would appreciate any help on areas or patterns (chunk bait, live bait, plugs, etc.). I really would like to put them on a few fish.
