Almost stayed home as I woke up to rain but my friend said E City was supposed to be dry till afternoon.
Put in at 730am and tide was mostly filled in even though high was at nine. Fishing was REAL slow till about ten thirty.
Started getting trout then one lower slot red, a black drum (my first in Florida) then more trout. Fished till dead low and out of water by 1pm. Did not feel so bad as my friend who lives there said it has been SLOW all week. Skeeters were horrible! Like being in Flamingo in July (stay posted for that trip:)
Rain pushed through on my way home. Trying to get psyched to get my surf board out early winds will be cranking tomorrow am.
