OK, Lets see some pictures on how and where you usually store your kayaks when not in use ...

I hang mine from the rafters in my basement using a pair of tie down straps and some heavy duty screw-in rings.

Unfortunately I have nowhere to put them inside since the garage is converted to an apartment.
I leave the kayaks on the trailer, under an oak to provide some shade. I will be creating a cover soon so I don't have to worry about all the leaves anymore.

When we had a small o.k frenzy I kept it in my bedroom up against my wall. Then we got a prowler 13 that stayed in my truck since I used it every day.

Two on a aluminum commercial display rack & one from the ceiling in the garage.

    Both boats since sold....

Sorry, no pic, but mine stay on the cart with the front propped up also. They get used so often its not worth hanging or putting them somewhere else. Wheel it out, into the truck and go!

Behind the couch in the living room. Would post a pic but this forum is the worst to do so...

I hang mine in the shed similar to the basement guy. Wish I had somewhere else to hang it seeming as my shed is cramped

From my phone which is hopefully with me on the water

Mine lay on their sides in the garage propped against a table. I always open a hatch after a trip, since that little bit of water that usually leaks in smells pretty raunchy if you let it sit there without drying out. I prefer a dead roach or two to the smell.
