Naples Peir Report

Went down to the peir this morning , would have loved to been out on the boat , but the trailer is down for a week or two for new springs , so being land locked I had to get a line wet . The bait was thick and with good size to them , threads to 8 inches , alot of Spanish Macs and Jacks feesting on them , if ya had spoon you were golden . Had a couple of good hits balloning out baits 100 yards , but never saw what they were . Pompano showed up thick at about 9 - 10 am and so did the tourist , which is when I left . but for alittle bit it was on . So if your gunna hit the peir go early and bring spoons for the Macs , sabiki for the ballon baits , and small yellow bucks tiped with shrimp for Pomps .
