Usually take the wife up to see her aging mother in the Fall. She is in Franklin, NC. Was thinking this year of extending the trip, possibly rent an RV in NC and drive up to West Virginia. Would have to cut thru the Western Part of Virginia. Would be looking for some Scenic By-ways. Mountain Lakes, Fall foliage. Probably stay in some State Parks and such for Camping.
Anyone got some favorite places or sites to see?

Great advice, IF you have a lot of time. BRPW max speed is like 35 mph... and they do not mess around with that either.
This.
But be careful, Flash. They's a place up around Skyline Drive called,
Then again, W. VA. has its charms as well.

Possibility, although I will not be renting a super large one. 24 to 28 footer will do.
