Off topic fishin'

After the girls finished the garden, Tori had to go in to work. Toni went with her boyfriend, Cody, to catch a few fish. They came home with a cooler full of bass and bream. Would have been a good day for a fish fry, but Rhonda had already taken 20 quail out of the freezer and the crowder peas are on the stove.

Bass should freeze OK if you vacuum seal them until you can use them... or just do the fish fry tomorrow. Sounds good right about now...

Those are **** good eating! I was amazed at how clean tasting and flavorful the fillets were the first time I ate a bass.

Does depend on the water. I have had some pretty fowl tasting bass. Rather had had freshwater cats and bream.

Bass are on the beds here in Central FL. Fine looking, eating size fish.
