1st post! 3/24-3/25 crystal river

First off let me say hello. Been a lurker on here for about 4 years now. Finallly got around to chiming in. Have had the chance to meet Shutter and Bonnie and actually took Mitzi and his girlfriend out fishing a few months ago. Mitzis family are neighbors now. Went out with my brother (roy) Saturday morning before the the worse of the weather came in. Soaked some handpicked shrimp on the oyster bar with a jighead and got 13 redfish in 45 minutes. All slot fish and kept 4 21 - 23.5 inches. 3rd best redfish day I've ever had. If i can post the pics properly (i know newbies have trouble sometimes) they will be the 1st 2 photos. We went out Sunday and only caught two one short and another nice 23.5 inch red. The third pic will be from Sunday. Sorry it took so long to motivate myself to add to the forum. Also keep in mind my brother is 6'10" and I'm 6'8" so if the fish appear smaller well.........

Sorry forgot about the "free drinks!!!!" I meant to say that George and Vicki, Mitzi's parents bought a house down the canal from us. Its been fun to get to know them. Took Mitzi and his lady friend out on the trusty family pontoon and surprised him how far up the creeks that boat can actually get. Thanks for the warm welcome and will definitely be posting more in the future.
