Was fishing the Cudjoe area this past weekend and was a bit too windy to get out to the reefs where we typically target the snapper/grouper bite.
Would anybody be willing to point me in a direction where I would be able to fish some patch reefs in search of a decent yellowtail bite? I know there are several leeward sides that are fishable with that strong E/NE wind but just couldn't stumble across a good area. Would be greatly appreciated if someone could give some advice as far as area, depth, or just what else I should have my eye out for.
Thanks.

What size boat?
I would've thought this weekend was pretty good. Had a guy and his wife fishing the KWFT in a 19' Grady, and they were weighing in Dolphin.
Pinfisher is right, those areas will give you the best break on an East wind.
