    not me fer sure....

    i just hope ricoh doesn't screw up like sony and drop the famous Pentax marque...
    sony should have carried on with Minolta marque which several generation of photographers have respected and admired...
    Pentax as well has a storeid history in cameras that shouldn't be lost....

    I'm also a bit concerned. Hoya was at least a glass company. Ricoh is a camera company, but not sure if they'll support the Pentax name and just when Pentax seemed to be pulling itself up again.

    The worst thing Minolta did was to brand its cameras with Konica Minolta. The name plate looked ridiculous across the top of the SLR bodies.

    Minolta had the first consumer digital camera years before its competitors and produced the first AF camera, only to let it all slip away.
