Yeah the snake isn't as big as the pic makes it look because of the way he's holding it......but it's still a big snake.

Anyway, does the guy holding it look like Brett Favre to anyone else?

I'd guess 7.5 to 8 feet if that dude holding it is 6' tall. Optical illusion or not it's a big F'n snake!

The snake isn't that big. This is another example of you can hold something close to the camera to make it look much bigger.

Yeah, that was a big snake when he was killed last year.... and the year before... and the year before.

It would have helped if he had actually measured it.

Back when I was about 8 (nearly 50 years ago) and they were building I 95, my family was coming from Jax back down to Titusville. We were just south of Daytona when we saw an Eastern Diamondback that had it's head in the grass and it's tail was over the white line of the shoulder of the highway. That's over 8 feet. My Dad wanted to stop and catch it because Ross Allen from the Silver Springs Reptile Institute had a $10,000 bounty for any Eastern over 8 feet long.

Well we didn't stop because my mother freaked the hell out and wouldn't let him. It was a shame she wouldn't though, it was the biggest Rattler I ever saw. It was as big around as a man's thigh and surely would have been a record setter.

I wasn't far off. The guy must be short... He's holding the snake at face level with the tail on the ground and the head hanging to the side a foot and a half or so.
