Tried to get offshore yesterday with my wife and little one but it was just a little to nautical for them in our small craft. Seas were not huge but it was just short period slop. After getting sardines and cigar minnows at 10A we decided to head back to the inlet. Made just a few drifts on the outgoing tide with silver bait before the weather closed in but got a couple of juvenile Grouper and this fine Redfish which measured well outside the slot so he went back. It sure salvaged the trip!

very nice!! cant wait.. getting the hub back on the trailer in the am and headin out w my boys to the inlet, and maybe beyond!

Nice Red capt. Where you in the inlet for the catch. Live bait has been the ticket for me

Thanks - yeah inside the inlet - towards the east end in about 35 feet on the bottom.

Nice bull! Been seeing more and more nice reds in our local waters, can't wait to actually get out and get one now!!
