Two tickies: $15
Two medium boxes of popcorn: $10
One bottle of water: $3.50. I said $3.50!
Flick was good though. Acts of Valor. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The guy responsible for the blood spatter effects deserves an Oscar.
The fact that the movie got anti-military Lib types' panties in a bunch was icing on the cake.

when we say the same thing about welfare recipients, you cry like a wounded buffalo Sopchoppy
It's their money, they spend it how they like. Truth and honesty have nothing to do with it. - Mr Jr

Tickets weren't so bad. $3.50 water is outrageous.
PING mr enlightened.
I'm with ya...my favorite SQIUD.:grin
Gasp! How can you guys NOT drop $50 to take your special one to a movie celebrating the greatness of the American Seal!
This is unacceptable. Did you not see the trailers, or read the story of how they are REAL seals.
Get out there this week you anti-military lib types.
You realize you can get a Daytona hooker for that - and for all night too.
I am going to watch this with my BIL and two nephews who are 12 and 13 and both want to be Marines. Still trying to convince them to go to college first and go in as officers, but I can't wait to watch this with them. I hope it's as good as advertised, but I think it will beat my expectations.
I like Germ's dinner theater thang. I could go for that.
Is this a great thread, or what? Got it all.
Movies, food, Libs, hookers (Was that redundant?), $. These could all be sub-forums.
With 3 kids, going to see a movie wouldn't be worth it for us by the time you factor in snacks and drinks.
We wait for movies to release to Redbox that we want to see. Pick up some popcorn (and white cheddar powder, and extra butter), and some drinks and we are all set.
The ability to pause for bathroom breaks or rewind if we want to see something we might have missed is a bonus.
.... and a "kicked to the curb has been" that still thinks he should be king.
12-15 year olds?
Lord, me too. That's why we went at 4 pm. No line at the ticket booth; no line at the concession robber; less than 15 people in the theater. I would **** if I were hanged with a new rope, but it was actually a pleasant experience.
An idiot who, five minutes before, told his wife she couldn't bring her own bottle of water into the theater.
Case closed right there!
Well she wasn't thirsty then.....she was just making a point. It's what they do.:grin
