Flick was good though. Acts of Valor. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The guy responsible for the blood spatter effects deserves an Oscar.
The fact that the movie got anti-military Lib types' panties in a bunch was icing on the cake.

I am going to watch this with my BIL and two nephews who are 12 and 13 and both want to be Marines. Still trying to convince them to go to college first and go in as officers, but I can't wait to watch this with them. I hope it's as good as advertised, but I think it will beat my expectations.

With 3 kids, going to see a movie wouldn't be worth it for us by the time you factor in snacks and drinks.
We wait for movies to release to Redbox that we want to see. Pick up some popcorn (and white cheddar powder, and extra butter), and some drinks and we are all set.
The ability to pause for bathroom breaks or rewind if we want to see something we might have missed is a bonus.
.... and a "kicked to the curb has been" that still thinks he should be king.

Lord, me too. That's why we went at 4 pm. No line at the ticket booth; no line at the concession robber; less than 15 people in the theater. I would **** if I were hanged with a new rope, but it was actually a pleasant experience.
