I don't recall ever seeing a bone in ribeye. Is that a Flar-duh thang?

Best ordered at steak houses or Japanese Hibachi places. Not worth doing at home, but that bone in flavor taste so sweet on an expense account, or a special occasion.

This administration has incentive to keep gas prices from becoming daily headlines but it is going to be tough to do with speculative contract runup here and abroad. In the meantime, plenty of producers are making tons of money and paying reasonable dividends. They are not the bargain that they were 6 months ago, but money can still be made. As long as GDP growth holds up, there should be a steady climb in oil. If oil really spikes like June 2008, get the heck out. Pigs will be slaughtered.

Besides an administration change, the only other benefit to high gas prices is increased use of nat gas. It has to happen sooner or later. Might as well speed up building the infrastructure for it.

Oh please get off the corpraider crap please, you sound like a girl. Some guy said that to me yesterday, Romney is a rich guy. So I posed a question to this lib moron. If you had to take every dime you had and hand it over to one man to invest for you and your families future would you rather hand it over to a man like Romney to invest or to a lawyer dirtag like obama? He never responded, with that I said running a Country is a business son and when you spend more than you make, like obama you go broke. Whast worse is obama has his sheep believeing its ok to do it. Corp raider capitalist............what a JOKE that is. WAAAAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Oh and as far as the little man goes...........the little man in this Country for the most part has gotten sorry and lazy ased when it comes to getting to work, giving the boss a 100% everyday and staying within his means with his money. The little guys spending more than he makes{ like obama) is a big reason we are in the mess were in.

So Mark exactly what is it you want the government to do to lower gasoline prices?
Take away fuel taxes ( Which have not been increased since the early 90s ) so we can't repair our roads?
    How about invade Iraq?
Take over the oil businesses and nationalize them like Venezuela?
Nuke China so they can't buy up all the oil?

There are lots of supposed free market capitalists on here asking the government to meddle in the oil market- hilarious.

So much for that theory. Just because it's fixed pricing for us that way doesn't mean it has to be. China negotiates it's oil prices. So much for PRICED TO MARKET bull crap. I guess you fall into the 90%?

I'm not against a legislation to say oil from public lands stays in the US either. Same with other govt contracts. A US based supplier gets preference. I see it in local bids all the time where a local supplier gets extra consideration.

Your answer is to incease government control (bigger government) and you want us to be like China? If I could I'd laugh really hard, but it's just too **** sad to laugh.

LOL.. Govt stipulation of resources in govt land leased/sold under contract is asking for more control? They already have the control of it. We lease the lands out with all sort of restrictions. It's simply a condition of a bid, sheesh. Just like every other condition in a lease or bid. Just like your buddy you let your dislike get in the way of your cognitive skills.

Funny how when gas got this high under the Bush administration some of the same people in this thread were saying how "the President doesn't control the price of gas, it's speculation" and are now blaming the President. And also some of the same people in this thread that are now saying "The President doesn't control the price of gas, it's speculation", were blaming G.W back then.

If you drive sensible vehicles when you can, don't rely on foreign fuels for travel, buy fuel when it is cheap (get a big tank), ride your bike or walk more, and generally look after the welfare of your family and community then it really does not matter all that much in the long run.

Remember, the sane thing to do is change the things you can (fuel use, what you buy and where it comes from) and stop whining about the things you can't change (fuel costs).

Edited as to not bring politics here, but really guys, it's not cool in any way to hope for higher gas prices just 'cuse you hate Obama.

Obama himself hopes for higher gas prices because he hates America.

    How is that cool?

    OH, here we go.
    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/saudi-oil-pipelines-destroyed-explosion-sends-crude-soaring
Among the many factors responsible for the jump in WTI to just shy of $109 over the past hour, and Brent to new records in various currencies, is the following news reported so far only by Iranian PressTV: "An explosion has hit oil pipelines in the flashpoint Saudi Arabian city of Awamiyah in the kingdom’s oil-rich Eastern Province."

Yep, I'm an American and unlike the bottom 47% I paid the taxes that funded it. Nice that you try to turn it to that after repeatedly being shot down with your twisting of my comments. At least your buddies Bimini TruthTwister and FalsehoodContender knew to scurry off.
