I'm in but with me starting a new job this coming Monday, I don't have time to keep up with everything. If someone wants to keep up with the score and updating everything, I'll run the names through the PC to pair up...or just do it individually. I don't care either way.
If I run it through the PC, I'll be sure the dnf and tapate are "randomly" teamed up again :wink (j/k - I litterally hit "enter" and it pops out everything for me)

Can I play again this year? Hopefully I'll get off to a better start...

If it gets to where there is an odd number of entries I'll drop out.
Not sure how my season is going to be this yr. The property owners son (and his buddies) is giving it a go this yr. I'm going to at least offer to take him and try to teach him what little I know about it so he doesn't educate every bird on the property. Last time I talked to him (2 weeks ago) he told me about how he had been walking around calling alot and bumping into turkeys and he thought that was a good thing.

I'd like feedback from all involved on how you want to run this. Here are my thoughts:
1) I'd propose we start whenever season starts where you are hunting with a 2 bird limit. Those of us who only hunt FL are limited to 2 birds.
2) Pics of bird showing beard and a second pic of spurs. (IMO it's for fun and there is no need to have yourself in the pic incase you hunt alone, and there is no need for a tape measure pic. If you lie about a turkey for the sake of a competition like this you have issues we are not equipped to address here)
3) Self guided birds only (don't care if you pay to hunt somewhere if it's a lease or out of state pay hunt but if you pay someone to show you around and call for you the bird is disqualified)
4) Use same beard and spur calculations that we used last year to determine score.
What do yall think?

Sounds good to me. You'll have to refreshen me on the beard and spur calculations though.
And when is the cut off date for people to enter? I'm going down south next weekend to hunt in Zone A so maybe we can have it all organized and the teams figured out by then...
