Delray and Gulf Stream

Hey Guys,
I plan on being in the DelRay/Gulf Stream area the first week of April, and I am wondering where I can get into some local fishing action. My brother in law lives right next to the Inter-coastal so I was hoping there is some fishing action available in there.
Any information would be great. I will have my Kayak with me.

There have been several threads recently on this topic, I would do a quick search. IMO (more my understanding from what I have learned from others on here) is that the inshore action is not so great in that area, but will be considerably better "up north." Like Jupiter north, and especially Stuart area. For offshore, you can certainly kayak fish the ocean, or try and get a ride with someone here, or there are numerous drift boats close by.

Thanks for the information. I will not be venturing out too far in the kayak, but I will try to get up to the Stuart area if I can get away from the family for the day.

Hey there Keith,

I think if you check out the NO MOTOR ZONE on the forum home page, there will be a lot of good information there for Kayaking.

Also, contact Palmbeachpete on the forum. He is our moderator there and he has some awesome videos with how, where and when he catches fish. He is a plethora of information. Give him a shot.. that is your best bet.

Good luck and make sure you post up some reports.
