Spring Crappie Fishing

I'm going to Lake Okeechobee for a spring crappie trip in late march maybe or early april. Which lures will work good for crappie during that time? :huh

I always go back to the original Johnson Beetle Spin for SPECS.

Kind of late for crappie. Mar and april are good in alabama and Tennessee.
