Lets get the man with the best chance of beating obama for our GOP nominee.......Mitt Romney. With his business background we will finally have a President who understands how to best utilize an investors( taxpayers) hard earned dollars. He can eliminate this debt that is hanging over our childrens heads.

ron paul has a good of a chance to beat obama as romney as shown in most national polls
and a a better chance than romney among independent voters
and he would do much more trhan romney to reduce debt, which likely romney will not do at all

unfortunately ron is just just not doing as well against romney in republican polls

Now that's some funny ****. Romney will not cut the debt, not going to happen.

So, a Balanced Budget is impossible for the US Govt to attain? What about cutting waste, can that be done? How about making Depts more efficient? How about assigning good experienced people to positions that they will do well at? (Geithner, Holder, Panetta and Hillary come to mind at the opposite end of that idea).

I like it that Mitt knows how to do well in a multi-faceted, financial environment, yet he has 4 years as the CEO of a State where he worked with mostly Dem/Libs. There, he had to work with the State's Budget and he ended up with a $2 Billion "profit" that was put into an Emergency Fund. We all have Emergency Funds in our own Balanced Budgets at home right? So if Mitt can do that, how can we complain? He has the organizational skills to have saved the Olympics as well.

And yes, the US Govt DOES have a Dept/area that DOES make a profit and it is run like a business. Wouldn't it be nice if a few more Depts eeked out a little "profit"?

Let's put him with a Repub House & Senate and then (with Ron Paul's help I hope) hold his feet to the fire........ close to the fire.

State level does not remotely look like the fed level. Romney will not balance a budget, may cut some waste, will increase world policing budget and overall increase the debt. And we saw what a repub House and Senate delivered, nothing will be any different with Romney.

You give him a R Senate and Congress and you won't get the profit, you'll get more spending than BO with Mitt forced to accept it by the RNC.

We had a balanced budget before 2001. once the repulbicans got control of congress AND the presidency they made sure that we wouldn't see a balanced budget for years. The economic crash in this country was a direct result of their policies and the bush tax cuts created ZERO jobs. Learn from history.

Romney is a member of a cult.. The LDS worships Joseph smith as their savior .. They wrote their own bible (they claimed to have improved the word of god) ...they have to wear special underwear while in church.. They like to have compounds where one guy has 10 wives ...

Mitt Romney proudly represents that "faith" and says he will take it into the whitehouse.. If you ever worried that Obama was a Muslim (which he isn't) you seriously better be worried about Mitt.. Becuase he is a LDS member.. And The only difference between David korresh in Waco Texas and the LDS "church" in Utah is money.. The LDS has more, so their public image is better.

Cut it anyway you want mitt Romney is a political arm of the LDS church.. It's a cult with a very long political history. They want to push their values onto the us population, and you dont want those values .. Members like Loren parks are continually pushing Oregon and California (via referendum ) to votes on LDS ideology - and their now loading their millions onto mitt Romney.

After 13 years in Oregon .. I'm scared of the LDS church..

As a registered "R" I voted for Newt Gingrich today. I am loving the moronic Repubicans slug it out over who is the bigger liar, Romney or Gingrich. The tea party will vote for Gingrich because they are stupid enough to think he ACTUALLY has a chance against Obama. The Tea Party Nation did a poll of its members and found that 40% of its members (which dwindle daily) would not vote for Romney under ANY circumstances. This is the kind of Republican primary the Dems LOVE. I hope Newt sticks to his word ( it would be a first) and takes his campaign all the way to the convention. The Obama camp has so much ammo against both of them already that all they have to do is run their own ads against them.

they never learn.... which is why they have to stop this negative campaigning. The DNC and dem super PACs are gonna turn this right back on whomever is the republican candidate.

The Obama campaign would like to thank all of the R voters from Florida for ensuring another 4 years of Obama.

The R's have failed America again by not coming up with a viable candidate.
They have one, but they won't nominate him.
    Oldred,

I can understand why as a Republican you would hate Mormon values.

    Don't take strong drink.
Do not smoke, the body is a temple of god and should not be defiled.
Do not tatoo yourself. (got lots of them don't you)
Remain faithful to your wife. (Disqualifies Mormons from being true Republicans)
Remain faithful to your God (another big disqualifier)

I love how so called conservatives refuse to accept that Utah is the most conservative state in the union and that Mormons are mostly Republican.

Here, this will make your head spin, especially the part about where Ronald Reagun, the Republican icon had more mormons on his staff than any other President.

    RCP average of major polls:

    Obama 47.7%
    Paul 42.3%

    Obama 47.5%
    Romney 45.2%

    Obama 50.6%
    Santorum 40.6%

    Obama 51.7%
    Gingrich 39.3%

Anybody who is considering voting for Gingrich is off his/her rocker. You are guaranteeing another 4 years of Obama if Newt is the nominee

    Here's another fascinating tidbit:

... "adult escort sites are more popular in "blue" states that voted for Gore in 2004, while visitors from the "red" states that voted for Bush in 2004 are more likely to visit wife-swapping sites, adult webcams, and sites about voyeurism."

    :rotflmao

Democrats are adulterers, and Republicans are closet perverts.

Would you rather have a business partner who cheats on his wife, or watches **** with his wife, and consensually swaps her out?

But personally I would rather have a partner who has the balls to follow through than a hypocrite who tells everyone else not to do something while doing it themselves (clasic repub definition)

    I did not know it.

Must be those Republican values are stronger than the Mormon values.

I am noticing a common trend among Ron Paul supporters. The inability to understand written English. Over in the other topic where I said I would vote Romney in November, I said that there will be two choices in November. Those choices are Obama and the Republican nominee and I will not vote Obama or third party. Since I know you probably still do not know my answer, I will state it in even simpler English. If Ron Paul was the Republican nominee and running against Obama, I would vote for Paul.

Obama had his chance and the recession is still here.
