Tampa anglers release Multiple Marlin in Nosara, CR

John Harbord and Bruce Sabine of West Coast Lawns in Tampa joined the FishingNosara Hall of Fame this week in Nosara, Costa Rica and they have left and indelible mark on Costa Rican Sportfishing.




Over the course of 3 days of fishing they released 8 Pacific Sailfish, 2 Striped Marlins, and a 350lbs. Black Marlin plus kept a 55lbs. Grouper and lots of Jack Crevalles for the dinner table.

    Wow, what a trip! Truly awesome to be on a boat catching trophy marlin and some very nice sails...and on top of that one frickin huge grouper! Surprised no mahi or tuna? We are heading down to Manuel Antonio this coming week and fishing next weekend, should be a blast.

    Sounds like a great trip, nice report. Now please stop bringing fish into the boat for photos--it's illegal in Costa Rica and we've gone through this before.
