As of this morning, HB 421 is being amended to exempt commercial applicators ONLY FROM THE RAINY SEASON BLACKOUT PERIODS.
The really BAD NEWS is that the Association of Counties and the League of Cities have signed off on the amended bill.
Please mobilize your forces to bombard (phone calls are best) the legislators listed below with this message: VOTE NO on amended HB 421.
I can't lie, this Association of Counties/League of Cities move leaves all our strong ordinances in an incredibly vulnerable state. It is time to pull out all the stops.
Anyone who can make it to Tallahassee on Wednesday for the 8 a.m. Community & Military Affairs subcommittee should be there to speak out against the amended bill.
