Hi all and glad the forum is back up. Well, kind of new to photography. We always took pics but since we had our son we wanted to try and get 'fancy'. Back story…our son, Gavin, was born 1/26/11 @ one day shy of 26 weeks. He weighed 1lb 3.8oz. He spent 90 days in the NICU and got to come home the Tuesday before Mother's Day at 5.5lbs. He now weighs 9.5lbs and is a very happy boy with no complications.
Anyway, we took a few photos and wanted to get some ideas of what we could do better. These are all in B&W and one attempt at color. I edited these in PS and used some Actions I found online and tweaked them a bit. -thanks
Congrats on the little one. Hopefully everyone is fine......including you. The only advice I can offer is the advice my father gave me - and he was right - hold them as much as you can when they are little because they don't let you hold then very long.
