I'm finally getting this posted since traveling after the fishing trip. I had been looking forward to this trip for a long time since my dad was flying down for his first experience on the Yankee Capts. The pre-trip bait catching was poor but we managed to acquire enough fresh bait to last the trip. My main concern was the weather but it held up and was calm throughout the trip. Not a lot of large muttons came over the rail but plenty of fish to go around, mostly a mix of snappers. A few decent red groupers were caught and the kings started biting in the last few hours of the trip. Thanks to the captains and mates, both my dad and I had a great time and look forward to future trips on the Yankee.
