Cast Net Size in Broward County?

Just want to be 100% clear, the size limits for cast nets in Broward County is 8 ft long correct? I tried some searching around and saw 7 ft some places and 8 ft others.

It is 7' max in broward. Can't post link with phone. Look in General Fishing, second page about 3/4 way down, title - Which Net, post 9. There is a link from fwc on net size. Looks like a $500.00 fine for largerthan 7' in broward.

OK great, I have 2 10' nets and just bought an 8' for this reason, guess I'll be going back to Bass Pro tonight. Not sure where you are saying to look but thanks for the info.

OK sounds good, thanks a lot. I was at BPS last night before I saw your post, and they all told me it was 6' there. I will be getting one custom made, thanks for the info.

I would waist the time, just go with the 8'. I doubt 1' is a concern of the FWC.
