Hey guys,

I will be making a move to fl after the new year and am very excited to learn some new fisheries and exploring all of the amazing areas. I will miss my smallmouth and musky here in NC but looking forward to tangling with some new salty fish! If any of you are heading up to NC to fish let me know if I can help as I'm sure I'll be asking lots of questions as they come to mind

I'm gonna be in the Knoxville/Smoky Mt area for Christmas break doing a little bit of stream hopping but mostly walking around whatever trails I can find. Not too far from your area. Do you know of any "must-see" areas out that way?

Most of my smokies experience is on the NC side but I would def fish any of the feeders to the little river in the park. A friend of mine just opened a shop in knoxville (not sure if I can post the name) but it's new and in knoxville worth a google search We've been unusually warm here this winter and the small streams are still fishing well. My favorite area on the TN side is tremont in the park. The stream that high up is closed for a few years but it is beautiful and worth walking the trails! Elkmont is also beautiful, park at the campground and start walking upstream!
