Fishing club objectives

Like many Florida residents we are getting more
concerned about our near term fishing prospects.
So we as a club are adopting some objectives.
1.Barbless and no treble hooks.
2.Keep fish which only you will eat.
3.Establish a SW coast fish hatchery.
4.Back organizations that endorse clean water.
5.Release snook,black and red drum.
6.Do  not throw trash in the water.

We  would  hope our fishing groups would
similar guidelines suitable to there area.

Great objectives all... the only thing I'd like to see is a once or twice a year outing - where all the anglers - are kids.... Too many kids interested in fishing come from families where they were the only ones interested in fishing (that was me - all those years ago...)... Every kid you take fishing is a blessing - and they're the ones who will carry on the conservation fight after we're gone... I'm not just talking about your own kids - but I'll bet that somewhere near your house there's a kid or two who would really appreciate a chance to be on the water with someone that knows what they're doing...
