Need a place for a week

My son is looking to come down to the middle keys for a week and wants to spend less then $300 a night.

He would really like to be able to fish off the dock or somewhere really close.

I've checked all my usual places and the prices are crazy.

Any help would be appreciated.

From what I've been reading lately, I think he's buggered.  Prices appear to be in the $500 and waaay up range....per day/night.

If you want the cheapest place in the Keys and are not fussy, and I mean really not fussy, then Sea Cove Motel and Marina.  $100-125 a night.  Right on the east end of Marathon proper.
