Game Cameras Public Land

Talking to a group of dog hunters the other day and the discussion turned to doghunters using game cameras to I D the buck they wanted to put the dogs on. 
 Did not think too much about it at the time.
Today I read an article about Kansas outlawing game cameras on public land.
Is this about to become an issue in Florida?

guess anyone putting a treestand up in a area i wanna hunt gonna get a visit from fwc         i got a lot of cameras.         but really how is that gonna be enforced      whats the penalty       unless you mount it to the front bumper of there truck how is fwc gonna find it.   do we really want our officers wasting there time on anonymous tips from marys bout a camera they seen.
