Banax 300C slowpitch

Hello i just purchased a banax 300c for slow pitching in deep water like 900 to 1500 feet. I wanted to see what pound test line you think i should put on it and what kind?

For slow-pitch fishing that deep, I wouldn't go any heavier than 20lb braid. Need the thin diameter to minimize the amount of slack in the line and give you more sensitivity on the jig when it's down 900 ft.
