Turkey reporting

Does anyone know how to properly record a kill by an unlicensed youth hunter? My son is on deck this year for his first bird.  He's 9 so no ID or license. I would just record it as if I shot it but that probably wouldn't go over well on this weekend's youth hunt.

Thanks for any info if any of you south zone dads have done this...

My kids have lifetime licenses and a profile on the app. I reported a kill last week for my son without issue.

I would like to think you could create a profile for your boy on that app even without a license but do not know first hand.

Create an FWC user profile for him son it generates a costumer # for him.    I believe all you need is name & costumer number to report.  Using the FWC App is provably the easiest way to report.  You can also add his profile (license) to your app as an additional user. I did it for my nephew and hope to be reporting one for him this Saturday morning.

Thanks fellas, I was able to get him a customer ID without purchasing anything, should be good to go.  Hopefully the birds cooperate this weekend.

Good luck Cracker! Hunt hard. I know it's not easy to hunt all day but it paid off big time for my son a couple weeks ago down south.

Thanks fellas.  Mak we won’t be hunting all day, got some other commitments.  Lucky to have private to hunt. We will hit it Sunday too most likely but it’s no rush, the little guy is on the gun until he gets one, youth weekend will be every weekend for him.  His 16 yo brother is on his own.

I don’t think we have a choice if we want to legally hunt in the State.

Can you trust any company with your info, or does it even matter everybody has it anyway.

Well, they do sell your email address when you do the online license thing - I've received an average of 4 emails per day from a combo of about 5 companies to the address I created to do my online license thing about a year and a half ago.

Of course, my local tax collector has an API to a traffic school to email you before they finish processing your payment on a speeding ticket.... I redirected those mails right back to his official address once I had my receipt of payment.  The joys of running your own mail servers.

It has to do with FL public record laws rather than them selling the info.  Basically same with all FL agencies.
